Eating is as natural as breathing. The difference is that we don’t have to think about breathing, but we do have to think about the food we eat:
- where it came from
- how the produce was grown
- how the animal was raised and slaughtered
- how far is traveled to get to our grocer
- how we cook it
There’s nothing natural about having to consider any of this. Unfortunately, we live in a time when not only is it necessary to think about these things, it matters for our health and wellness.
