Meet Cathy

Cathy graduated from the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy in February 2020 where she studied and was mentored under the tutelage and instruction of Susan Salvo, B. Ed., LMT, N.T.S., C.I. 

Cathy earned her first credentials as a Certified Natural Health Professional in 2009. She continued her training and education and has studied under several experts in the natural health field including Dr. Josh Axe, DC, DNM, CNS. In 2017, Cathy earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Trinity School of Natural Health.

Cathy offers wellness consultations and massage therapies that target pain and stress to clients in the Southeast Louisiana and Southwest Mississippi areas.

In addition to wellness and massage, Cathy is also a web designer for other professionals in the holistic health industry. As a matter of fact, Cathy created this website, CathySmithNDLMT.com, which is a subsidiary of SmithWorks, Inc. (SWI).

SWI is owned by Catherine Smith (Cathy) and her husband, Zach. Another division of SWI is Bonsai South, a bonsai garden and nursery. It is operated by Zach who is a 30+ year veteran in the art and design of large indigenous bonsai trees.

Cathy and Zach raise their grandchildren and live in beautiful St. Francisville, Louisiana.
